Thurgood Marshall
One of the most prominent individuals in the country, Thurgood Marshall, served as an associate justice of the Supreme Court. He was also a well-known lawyer.
He became the first African-American to join the Supreme Court after he was admitted to the bar in Maryland when he was just 18 years old. His most prominent legal achievement was leading the Brown vs. the Board of Education case, which helped desegregate public schools in the US.
Johnnie Cochran
The case of O.J. Simpson, which became widely known due to its sensational nature, was represented by Johnnie Cochrane. He was part of a group of lawyers who were able to successfully defend the football star. They were tasked with presenting a case that would help convince a jury that Simpson was not guilty of killing his wife.
Johnie Cochran was also able to represent various prominent individuals, such as Michael Jackson, Snoop Dogg, and Tupac Shakur.
Aside from being a great lawyer, Johnnie Cochran was also known for his work in fighting for the rights of the victims of police brutality.
Woodrow Wilson
One of the most prominent individuals in the world of politics is Thomas Woodrow Wilson, who is known for his high-minded ideals. Throughout his career, he has shown his ability to lead and develop international and national statesmanship. Due to the current state of the country and the time that he served as the president of Princeton University, his achievements have been re-evaluated.
Aside from being a great politician, Wilson was also a superb lawyer. He became a lawyer after he was admitted to the Georgia State Bar. Before becoming the 28th president of the US, he obtained a Ph.D. in political science.
Joe Jamail
Due to his career, Joe Jamail is regarded as one of the most prominent lawyers in the country. He is known for his passion for his work and for being able to put out impressive cases. His character in the courtroom also showed through his sometimes aggressive behavior.
One of his most prominent cases was the case involving the oil company Pennzoil and the company known as Texaco. In 1985, he was able to win the case and collect a $335 million contingency fee.
Besides representing some of the biggest companies in the world, Joe Jamail also handled cases involving some of the most prominent individuals such as General Motors and Honda. He was also known for giving back to the community through his charitable activities. Although he was a prominent lawyer, Joe Jamail also made numerous donations to various schools.
